Track Building

In my last submission, I referred to the idea of building a new track into your life; finding a new path to travel upon. While I've been getting back on my tracks that work for me, I stumbled upon a possible new track for myself today! During my walk today I found a new beautiful walking path with breath taking palm trees and cacti. During my walk I had the sudden urge to start running, so I did. It was amazing! I probably ran for about a 1/2 mile, but I have not run like that in years. It felt liberating just to let go and move in a way I haven't experienced for a long while. During my run I had a wonderful new belief, I thought, "maybe I could become a marathon runner". I know that may seem like a big jump, going from a brief run spurt to having thoughts of marathon running, yet I love it when you can allow your mind to go to places it has not been before. Your ability to create a new belief about yourself is the first step in getting to new places you would like to go. Having the ability to believe I could become a marathon runner is the first step to making it happen, that is if I want it to.
So, while I've been building new tracks, I tend to rely on the old ones that work for me as one of my main methods to finding new pathways.
How do you find your new pathways? What helps you to figure out where you want and need to go next?
